RUM error 102! FFFFFUUUUUUU! It's actually JUM error 102, My bad!
Right so yesterday I reported about my 8900 that keeps resetting itself (only when I am using the browser) tonight it took it to the next step.
It reset itself and everytime it attempts to load itself up (i.e. the white thinking page) it come up with very small text saying RUM error 102, reset.
And naturally after every subsiquential reset/battery pull, I now get the same message.
Now, I have tried connecting the phone to my dads pc, and it says blackberry connected, yet I can't really do much from there due to the desktop manager hating my pc, I load up the DM, but all I get is that home page, I can't click on anything, it just kinda hangs there, every time I try to uninstall that I get a v-error (or something simular)
Now I either have 3 choices (unless there is something i don't know about)
1) Go back to Carphone warehouse and lay the smackdown on the manager there, as I only recieved this phone last week as a replacement for my last 8900 which had the trackball issue, (this seems like the likely solultion although it will take 3 weeks possibly)
2) Take out some of my anger and smash my 8900 to smitherines, with my trusty hammer, I have insurance, all I would have to pay is the £25, but I can guarentee they will find some way to weazel out of it!
or 3) Nuke my dads horrendously old pc (this may take days to finish there is that much **** on here) and re-attempt to install the software, but this isn't guarenteed to work.
