    Default Ringing after call finished?

I've been having a problem with my 8900 for about a week or two and now its getting annoying: after someone finished calling my phone, my phone would still ring and even when I turn it off it would still ring. I have to do a battery pull so it could stfu.

Another issue is even though I would set my sound profile to vibrate or silent or off, the phone still rings regardless.

Why am I getting these problems?

I have never had this problem. You're saying that your phone is still ringing when its turned off when the battery is still in?? Maybe its possessed.

Wait well actually No, if it was possessed then it would ring with the battery out as well. I say upgrade your os and maybe it will change?? Idk though if that doesn't work then take it back and yell at tmobile to give you a new one.

Try a battery pull on your device, that might be all it takes. If that does not work then you might want to consider upgrading the OS.

g3kewl and aristile, I have tried both of those solutions and they didn't work. I think I'm just gonna go to the T-Mobile store and see what a customer rep has to say about the problem.

I just upgraded to .231 about a day or two ago and the problem still persists.
And yes g3kewl, the phone rings when it's off WITH the battery still inside.

Try to get a replacement device then if you can.
