For no reason my red status light will start to flash. I check all messages and I go through all the apps to see if anything is there and nothing. I reboot the phone and it solves the problem till the next day. Does anyone know why or have a fix for my 8900?

Download LED Reset.

It'll fix your problem. I'm not sure where to get it anymore, but you can google it ^^

same thing happens to my 8900 after a phone call, the led keeps flashing. i just downloaded LED reset, so whenever this happens i just click the icon..pretty cool
