rattling noise.
posted on the "other" website and just got flammed for asking and thread went waaaaayy off topice.
anywho,
so, like every crackberry addict, i was in OCD mode over my phone and noticed that there is a slight rattling noise near the top of the phone.I noticed the rattle when i placed my phone on the table and it felt like something was loose.
at first i thought it was the buttons and scroll ball making the rattling noise, but it wasn't. I actually taped the buttons so they don't move and held the scroll ball while i turned my phone upside down and shook. wasn't the battery door either.
while i was at the tmo store yesterday and checked out it their demo model did the same thing. the rattle was actually louder.
so is your javelin doing the same thing?
just wanted to know if this is a wide spread thing or just maybe isolated to certain batches of phones made.
my phone was manufactured on 050209. - 02-27-2009, 11:47 AM #2Your Lord and Master, Dispatcher

nope. its not.
i actually taped the side keys, batt cover, & anything else that could be the culprit.
the rattle is louder when the phone is held upside down.
also, i've never dropped this phone.... - 02-27-2009, 12:00 PM #4
Interesting, I heard that too on mine. Not sure what that is though. Maybe when I change out my bezel I can look around. Anyone who already changed out their bezel notice anything loose in their device?
