Default question about the 8900

Ok so I got the 8900 yesturday. And its amazing. I'm using it to type this. Anyway. When I press the end button the screen gets all weird like if you touch it. And a question about the trackball. I've heard rumors about the trackball being new? I can tell its black but what else are the new things on it. And is the screen good against scratches?

The LCD waves are common. Everyone complained about it in January '09.

Get a BestSkinsEVER to protec the screen, order it NOW.

Enjoy your new toy.

Unfortunately, the screen ripples was a common problem for early 8900 adoptors. You may just need to have it replaced.

The trackball was reduced in size somewhat and given better functionality for better response.

Like lazerus said, you should get a screen protector to prevent scratches.

Same stuff. Either work well. Invisible Shield (Zagg) is like 400% more expensive. I've used both. Recommend both. Will be using BSE in the future because there is no reason to waste money and Zagg is just overpriced.

I use Invisible Shield - full body on both my BlackBerry & my iPod. I really like it but had a helluv a time applying it. If you go full body for your Curve - I would recommend skipping the little bits that go over the "call, menu, back & end" buttons though. I found them unnecessary and took them off after a few weeks.
