Problem with speaker phone
ALOHA everybody,
I need your help, please. Here's the situation. I bought my phone off of eBay, and don't have any kind of warranty on it. The speaker phone is acting up. The other party says that I break up, and they miss a quarter of a second when I start to speak. How can I go about fixing the problem? Does the phone still have a warranty even if the phone was picked up through eBay? I appreciate any help you can offer. MAHALO! - 03-23-2009, 02:03 AM #2
You may be able to fix this issue with an OS upgrade. Check the OS you are currently running to the newest released OS. If not it could just be the phone. A lot of people sell phones on ebay and other places that have known issues to the seller themselves and the buyer finds out later.
Also, I think buying a used phone voids the warranty. Not 100% sure about it, but I think so.

Thank u Kangaruex for the info. I did double check if I had the latest OS, and I do. Do u or anyone know if I did buy the phone off eBay, but it was still in it's factory sealed box, does that mean it's still under the manufacturer's warranty? Also, can anyone lead me to one of the threads that talks about purchasing a warranty for my phone, other than the carrier one? Thanks again!
