| | Phone can't be turned on, funny image appears
While I was using the browser, the phone suddenly turns off, and cant be turned on again. After taking off the battery a few times, it still cant be turned on.
I charge the phone then, at first the red LED came out, then this image was shown on screen and the red LED went off.
Does anybody know how to fix this or what does the image means?

There are a number of threads on this. Try replacing the battery and see what happens.

Is my battery condemned? I always overcharge my phone. I'd usually charge it before I go to bed, and turns it off when I wake up.

The phone won't turn on with out some charge in the battery, even if its plugged into the A/C charger. Charge it for 30 minutes then try turning it on.
If the battery is discharging rapidly then you may have an app sending and receiving data in the background. Shut down apps your not using.

I beg to differ. I see it all the time in my job. Also my wife's phone will only hold a full charge for 5 - 7 hours tops.

I think Radius is correct because the charger stops sending charge to the battery when it is full (notice the lightening bolt disappears when its charged and on), therefore, the power is not going to the battery, but to power the phone instead.
Plus, after going back to a stock theme, and ditching youmail, my battery life nearly doubled!!!! it all depends on what you have running in the background, and pinging the server (ie: twitter, facebook, myspace, youmail, etc.)

But have you tried a new battery. Try that first. Maybe you know some one who could let you borrow theirs for a minute. Or go to the phone store and tell them your battery might be bad and see if they'll let you pop one in to test it if you don't have the cash to buy an extra one right now.

set her phone back to stock for one day and tell me how long her battery last.
not sure what bb she has but the 8900 has a 5.5hour talk time and a ridicoulous 15day (350+hr) standby... thats without all the addons and extras turned on

Remove your sd card and see if it will turn on. You may have some corrupted files. That will sometimes make your phone act weird. If that works you will need to reformat your card.

I'm on wap so I can't see the pic. Just to throw out an idea because the other two were shot down. Have you connected it to your pc to see if it is recognized by DM? If it does then I would try to back it up and see if it would take an update without having to completely wipe it and reload the OS.
