Hello all
I have a older 8900 curve running os v.4.6 the phone is a rogers phone but has been cracked to allow me to use it with Fido.
My question is can I upgrade my phone to a newer os and messanger or will it stop working with that service provider once it is updated and need to be rehacked

You can update de OS without problem. The phone is unlocked permanently.

And the term is "unlocked" not "cracked" or "hacked".
