    Angry Not Enough Memory

Hello, I'm trying to install a 3rd party app into my BB 8900, but the app installer says I don't have sufficient memory to install it. The app is only 8K, the app loader says my apps take up 2893K of space, and my BB says I have 102.1 MB of free space. I've closed all programs so that only the HOME is running to free up space, All to no avail. What is the disconnect?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you tried doing a battery pull??? Leave the Blackberry running, pull the cover, pull the battery, leave it out 20 seconds, put the battery back in, wait 2-3 minutes to boot up.

Blackberry OS's always have 5 apps running... push Alt-esc to view them (Home Screen, Messenger, Browser, Call Log, and Messages)
