Default No sounds at all. Please help!

Hi, I just updated my 8900 to OS 5.0.0.822. Now I have no sounds coming frm my phone, no SMS, no BBM, no phone calls. I click the speaker in the upper left corner, it's on "Normal" and edit the ringtones. When i "try it", i get no sound coming out. Volume is on 5, "Play sound" is set to always but i dont get any sounds, even when i try different tones. This only started after i update to OS 5. Someone please help!

    Cool

Downgrade ASAP to .681. Many will agree this version if very stable and definitely ranks up there as one of the best OS's for the 8900.

If you are unsure as how to downgrade your OS please search the this site as there are many tutorials.

    Good Luck

Agreed. .822 has this known sound error. Time for a different OS!

thanks for your answers, i downgraded and the sound issue is resolved. though now it seems like the phone doesn't respond when i click certain button from time to time, but thats better than the sound issue.

    thanks for your help

The sound issue resolved itself with .822 on my phone when I pulled the battery...

hmm. didn't on mine. I would probably just look into downgrading to the previous v. then.. Careful to follow the directions on "downgrading OS" otherwise you can really phuck your phone.
