Here's the deal, i own the Blackberry Javelin 8900, with the os that my carrier (Orange Dominicana - Dominican Republic) installed.
Checking the web page of Blackberry i noticed that there are 3 more updates to my OS, so i clicked download on the last of them.

The problem is that in the menu of available downloads, there wasn't an orange download for the dominican republic, so i choosed the UK Orange download.

Could this damage my Blackberry? or i wont matter.

Thanks!

Will upgrading my OS remove my little icon that says "EN" on the top right of my screen whenever I type/text?
Because I have been trying to do everything, and yet, nothing seems to work. I know its the little language input thing, but I just give up on trying whatever I can do.

Thanks!

P.S.- its really bothering me, so please give me whatever info I need to get rid of this icon!

Is it just me, or have you guys noticedan increase in dropped UMA phone calls with this OS? I'm using a standard verizon wireless router, and I find that when I'm @ home on phone calls with my gf, the calls drop very frequently. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Default OS for Mac Computers?

Hey, I have a PC and updated my OS and the battery life is great now. My cousin uses a Mac and I'm trying to tell him to update his OS so his battery won't die as fast. Is there an executable file for macs? If so where can i find it?

I upgraded to os .199 and have had zero issues until today: everytime I put the phone in standby mode, it comes out of standy a minute or two later for no apparent reason. Anyone know why?

Hello, I want to ask is the OS.199 already officially released?

Because this morning when I want to upgrade my wife's BB Bold (with INDOSAT Carrier).

I saw this:
8900jEastAsia_PBr4.6.1_rel307_PL4.2.0.102_A4.6.1.1 99.exe in the BB 9000 (Bold) Section, but nothing new in the 8900 section. Maybe they missplaced it??
