The Javelin looks awesome (now that ive seen a comparison shot), if there is a 3G version of this, it trumps the BOLD, otherwise I feel the Bold is the way to go ...
I assume the reason why it isnt 3G is because of battery life, they wouldnt be able to fit a 1500Mah battery in there!

Edit: Paul: the Bold and the 88xx are quite similar in size. | I agree Quote:

Looking forward to more pics. | If you look at the thread I started, l there are better pictures that show the key spacing. I don't think it's that bad. Or are you looking for comparison pics of the keys? Quote:

I might need glasses but it looks smaller than the curve in the pics of it beside it...just a larger screen...maybe you need your facts checked. |

@ J MC
I love the passion you have for this device...
I am looking more towards the bold, and heres why.
1.) Size
2.) Keys
Really the Javalin is a beautiful device...But, and I say BUT as in my opinion...The keys look like the Curves keys, and I find the keys to be somewhat troublesome for someone with well I guess larger thumbers (no offense intended.) to type with less errors.
And if its thinner, I don't know if I would like it thinner than a curve. It might give off the feeling of being a toy, or flimsy build quality of sorts.
Again this is MY opinion, seeing as I have not yet held one, it is subject to change.
*Note the Specs are amazing - regardless*

The alignment of the screens is a bit of an optical illusion.

I will grant you that the smaller size "may" lend to it "feeling" flimsy but no way to tell from a picture lol

FACT: Smaller than the Curve, bigger screen.

Really my opinion is groundless.
Its a Rim device so the chances of it feeling flimsy are pretty unrealistic.
Either way my hands would be happy to hold, abuse and cherish.

@ tsheidt: you're just a regular everyday genius aren't you? Have you held one of these in your hand? Have you personally compared the two devices? Nah, I don't think so. I on the other hand have. Also, I said the were basically the same size. I said the Jav was thinner, but bout same size as curve. ****, the Jav might actually be a tad bigger. That picture is decietful. It makes it looks smaller than it really is. OH, that's right, you already knew that huh? Wow.
