new guy-- bold or curve?
What is the big difference? I have a storm now and not sure if I will stick with it. I am considering one of these other ones.
What is the draw from one to the next? THey seem the same other than the curve is bit smaller? - 01-25-2009, 12:17 AM #2
Bold is 3g

Curve is a great phone...
We must overcome the notion that we must be regular... it robs you of the chance to be extraordinary and leads you to the mediocre.

Well if you are on Verizon and don't want to switch to another carrier, the Bold is coming to Verizon (codename: Niagra) in the first half '09. If the specs I read are correct it will have updated styling versus the AT&T Bold and will feature upgraded camera and screen resolution.

^^ agree but I think that the non 3G 8900 is more reliable as a phone.

Pretty simple.... which form factor do you prefer? Does 3G matter to you? Do you care about paying more $/month to AT&T?

Given that you're currently on Verizon, it seems to me that you have just about no choice but to stick it out until the Niagara comes out. Paying to get out of your contract I assume, if anything like Rogers, is just plain robbery ($20 for every month remaining). So looks to me like its neither the curve or the bold for you.
