Default New to BB and loving the 8900!!

I just picked up an 8900 from Rogers yesterday. Coming from an N95 which was awesome but painfully slow (software wise). I almost got the Bold but after playing with one for a while, the 8900 is definitely the way to go as long as you aren't to concerned about the lack of 3G.

This phone is awesome! Has everything I could ever need and the browsing over EDGE on this phone is hardly even noticeably slower from 3G on my N95.
I just got my wife a pearl a few weeks ago and decided it was time to join the BlackBerry revolution.

One question I have, and i'm sure its been answered before, with the $30 BlackBerry value pack, it has 500MB data, does that apply to any data used on the phone? Such as 3rd party apps, etc.? I think it does but just want to make sure before I get a large suprise bill. Also, is there any way track your data usage on a BB?

Thank you and I look forward to being part of CrackBerry.com.

Depends on the network, some allow 3rd part apps like Opera Mini to be included - others (Like my O2 network here in the UK) dont. Needs someone that knows Rogers well to tell you..

Best of luck finding out - welcome to the BB world!
