On my third 8900
Phone died yesterday, At&t sent me a new one under warranty. I am setting up the new phone now, with memory card installed in the device. Yet none of my old pictures or music are showing up on the phone. I took the card out, as well as the battery and put both of them back in with no luck. I also fiddled around with the memory settings under options and turned mass storae mode from on to off then back on, but nothing changed. It says that memory card is not installed into the device, but the card is in the phone. Any way I can change this without having to go to the At&t store?
Another question: my phone was fried by plugging it into my computer and attempting to update the current software, like desktop manager told me to. I am nervous to plug this new BB into my computer. Bad or good idea to sync it?Last edited by jflom13; 02-19-2010 at 11:18 AM.

sounds like your old pictures and music might have been stored on your old phone instead of the memory card. plug the memory card into a card reader or your computer and see if it shows up with the pictures
mass storage mode is when you plug your phone to the pc and it shows up as a usb storage drive.
