My new Blackberry and Applying a new housing set.
Hey Guys,
Recently I purchased My first blackberry which is the curve 8900 and as it was second hand as I purchased it off my brother. I wanted to give it a new look as he slightly scratched the Bezel and the whole phone's cover is messed up.
So I purchased this housing set;
sw-box.com/BlackBerry-Javelin-Curve-8900-Matte-Housing-Faceplate-Cover-Red.html BlackBerry Javelin Curve 8900 Matte Housing Faceplate Cover - Red #Only $13.68 + High Quality Guarantee !
Now I've watched a tutorial on YouTube and I fully understand on doing this, I'm confident about taking my phone out and fitting it with the new housing.
But I came across stuff in the video which was;
.youtube.com/watch?v=WBwvqFm8HbQ Blackberry 8900 disassembly tutorial (Bezel, Trackball, Keyboard replacement) - YouTube
Now what I came across was that in the center board/Middle case on all blackberry 8900's including that on the cover had stickers on it? Such as the antenna's? and a chip at the top right corner of the frame?
Now on my new housing set it doesn't come with that? Is that relevant? Do I need it?
If I do need it then how do I remove it from my Blackberry curve middle case to my new case?
Please could you help me, Step by step instructions would definitely help!
Thanks!
Kavi.
