Which models have the same screen as 8900?
I have a Curve 8900 which shows me the "white screen of death" after having fallen. Low battery alerts still work, and the lock button is still functional... I have clearly established that this is an LCD issue, and not a phone problem.
Now, I need to know which phones have EXACTLY the same screen as the 8900, I was thinking probably the Tour/Essex because of their very similar internal and external structure. What I mean by "exactly", is that although the 9700 may have the same resolution as the 8900, the actual shape of the LCD is not the same. More precisely, I am referring to the LCD frame being longer (vertically) on the 9700 (as such, the Onyx does not have a plastic "bar" between the LCD and the keys, as do the Tour, Essex, and Javelin.) Also, the 9700's LCD seems to be cut diagonally at the edges near the bezel.
Does anyone have any information regarding this?
Thanks

Sure, it’s going to kill a lot of people, but they may be dying of something else anyway.
