I bought a new 8 GB card and I inserted it into my new curve 8900.

I plug in the phone to my computer and it asks me to put in a password in the computer and the phone and I do so successfully.

I am then able to see the files when i go to my computer and so on.

But when I go to paste some music in the music folder, RIGHT when it starts the transfer, it asks me to input the password in the phone again.

I do so once again, then it'll look like the file will start transferring but stop again and asks for the password again... on the device.. and again and again.

The password i type in is correct. It doesn't say its incorrect or anything like that.

It just plainly keeps asking me to input the password and I can't seem to send any music files over.

Before I tried transferring music files over to the device via explorer, I did successfully transfer ONE video file to the video folder. I think it only asked me for the password once.

I used to have a 8900 and never had problems with this.

Any suggestions?

I have the newest drivers, newyeast software,... and I had all this working before wiht my old curve... why not now? whyyyy.. .lol

UPDATE: I disable the password I had on my phone and when i plugged the phone in , it did not ask me for a password, which was good.

I then tried transferring a video file and i did not work.

What happened was it would start to transfer with that window poping up with no progress in the actual transfer and then the device will then after as if i just pliuged it in and try to sunc or something.

I even took a BRAND NEW BB usb cable and used that and same thing. I don't even know how i was successful in transferring that FIRST video the very first time i tried to do a transfer. Now i can't even do just that, which is transfer that first video that I successfully transferred in the beginning.
