major trackball issues!

hey everybody, im new to this whole crackberry website so i'm sorry if this goes in the wrong place or anything!

firstly, my trackball was being stubborn and not moving downwards so i decided to pop it out and investigate inside..i got a needle and began to remove the dirt and dust caught in the rollers that navigate the trackball. I somehow managed to ping the metal leaf spring the trackball out of my phone and can't find it anywhere!!
now i can't select anything and my contract isnt up for another 5 months! just wondering if anyone knows if i buy a new trackball will this metal leaf spring come with it?
if not does anyone know where i can get a replacement metal left spring?
I can now not select anything or use certain applications of my phone so in major need of help!
