Is there a way to remove it? it gets annoying because its a mix of red and green.

No there isn't a way to get rid of it. Well wait yes there is its called charge your pHone lol I know its annoying and ironic but yeah just charge your phone and you will be fine. If needed carry a spare battery or charger around to avoid the horrid green light

why would we wanna get rid of it? probably because the blinking light is helping drain the already low battery even faster! plus sometimes we are not always by a charger. can't help that blackberry's batteries are terrible lol

if you are unable to charge the battery and it really is annoying you, there is a way of resolving the problem just enter the bedside mode which is located in the options when you set the alarm clock
