Why is it always called East Asia? It includes all my input languages perfectly but I am just curious.

BTW, thanks a lot Ahmed..your links have been super useful.

Great!! Can somebody who's already downloaded this tell me whether the LED problem of only flashing for 15 minutes has been fixed?

Thanks!

It is called ''East Asia'' Because Hutchison is an East Asian Carrier. East Asian OSes have more Asian Languages input than the ''Multilanguage'' releases. To not make the file big, some languages have been removed to put other Asian ones. Arabic input for example is removed from the East Asian Releases. ''All Languages'' Oses on the other hand have all languages and therefore the file is big.

Glad you found them useful

Nope, they haven't changed this. F***king stupid idea in the first place changing it to 15 minutes, it defeats the object of the LED notifications!

I hope they don't run with this on OS 6.

Seriously? I can't believe I never noticed this problem with 5.0.0.561.

Downloaded last night without any problems! Hopefully this version will take care of the bug that I had that would play a multimedia message sound file after I would hang up from a call. That got really annoying.

Not that this is any assurance of 100% problem free stuff, but I'm gonna wait until the Powers That Be post the link to the new OS on a Sticky before I think about messing around with it...

But you can download it directly from Blackberry Servers. I'd say that makes it official.

I heard that the sound notifications will go silent by itself after some time with this OS. Is that true?
