Update to 250. If that doesn't work you have physical hw issue. Call it in.

Well if its EVERY single button AND your trackball, something definitely failed in the internals of the phone somewhere and the only thing you can do is exchange it. I'm sure you'll have no issue getting it exchanged for a new device as long as all your water damage stickers show no signs of water.
Also, you didn't do any modifications did you which required you to remove the one sticker on the top left screw under the battery door?

That just happened to me a few days ago, I got mine swapped out because I only had it for 3 mos. I put it in my back pocket one day while I was walking, then it didn't work again. No water damage, just stopped working. I took it in to have a tech look at it and they couldn't get it to work, since there was no damage to the phone, they just swapped it out for a new one. I lost everything except my contacts. SUCKED!

Hey guys,
I just got the replacement new 8900 today...
The reason my provider gave me was that there was moisture in the set that caused the keys to not work. Keep it away from moisture or very humid areas.Last edited by kmr3800; 08-12-2009 at 01:39 PM.

Hi, I just figured out this problem on my 8900. So disassemble you phone and disconnect keypad connector, try to restart you phone. If its working (trackball) it is definitly keypad problem. The problem could be moisture under white foil. Carefully remove the foil and if you can see black or gray maps on the PCB or foil clean it by ethanol. Do not remove all glue from foil. Then put it together and try you phone. It worked in my case.
