Question

Being a former Treo guy (with its handy touchscreen capabilities), I thought I'd be all over the Storm, but I'm used to the Curve form factor and might just hold out for this Javelin.

Question: Is that a bigger flash that sits to the right of the camera? Does the flash work well?

(I'm stoked that the cameras are getting better and better on these smartphones -- can't wait to see 8- or 10-MP cameras some day.)

Great review!
That phone looks simply AMAZING!!! I want one as soon as it comes out! Does anyone know when that might be? If you could let me know, that would be great! I have been waiting since it was leaked a few months ago.

I am still torn between the Jav and Bold. Decisions, decisions.

On a side note, Kev almost has a 1,000 posts. Nice.

So if the Javelin 8900 is "3G-less BlackBerry", what networks can we see it here in Canada on? Telus?bell?

Your talking about Kevin right? I didn't notice the logo on his shirt 'till I just went back and saw it. I thought you were talking about Crackberrykills who posted right above you.

I have to say that I have been dying for a 3G phone for a long time but I have to think if on the device itself I really need it. Sure, tethering would be nice but I dont think it's a "must have". So, with that said, Im thinking at this point Im gonna have to go with the Javelin, I love the form factor and I don't think I have to have 3G on a blackberry because of the way the data compression works. Plus, I'd have to pay ~$30 more a month on ATT then with Tmobile who I have now.
