Default Just got the 8900...questions about InvisibleShield

I am real clumsy when it comes to phones and I have the worst luck with them so I decided to buy the InvisibleShield full body cover. Now I kind of rushed and bought it without reading the reviews (cause I'm paranoid about how long I can keep this phone safe) and I got it off ebay. So AFTER I bought it, I looked around this forum for reviews and I saw some people say that ZAGG first released some that are improperly cut, but now they are fixed.

1. I'd like to know if there's anyway to find out if the one I bought is the updated version or the old one without taking it apart and trying to apply it.

2. I see some people here say that the spray that comes with the InvisibleShield gave them some problems with it leaving some bubbles UNDER the LCD, 1 post saying their phone just wouldn't turn on anymore, and a few people saying they recommend liquid soap and water instead. Is the spray problem still an issue? And if it is, how exactly do I use soap and water? A link to directions or anything like that is fine.

3. Should I sell it and get a different protector? I really got this one mostly for the full body protection and the scratch resistance.

4. What is "orange peel"? I see that a lot when reading posts about this on this forum.

1. Its hard to tell if you have the correctly cut one or not because the screen area is only slightly larger on the incorrectly cut ones. You probably can't tell until after you put it on.

2.The Zagg spray bottle and solution actually works great. Here is a link to the instructions I used: http://forums.crackberry.com/f2/my-i...ld-skin-36850/

3. The Innocase II really is great. You might want to look into that one.

Thanks for your reply...personally I HATE cases for phones. My favorites are the holsters with the screen on the blackberry facing out. Still waiting for that to come out. I usually get cheap ones from ebay for a few dollars but I've always been happy with them.

Do you know how zagg compares to other protectors like BSE and phantom skinz?

Haha that's why I got the invisibleshield to protect my whole phone...hopefully. Unless there's another reason I shouldn't be doing that that I'm unaware of. (please let me know)

I guess cause for a while I had cheap flip phones with holsters like that so when I started using the 8320 (my first blackberry) I wanted a similar holster.

Plus I like it on my waist. Those damn cases you have to put in your pocket.

Honestly, I've ran my curve into corners of counters so many times and I never even got a scratch on my screen (lucky?).

But I've replaced screens on blackberries a few times. I'm telling you, ebay can save your life!
