Only complaint on mine was the loose battery cover. I cut two tiny little rectangles of electrical tape, put one piece each on the two tabs that go up into the top of the phone. Squeek and movement free ever since. The phone feels so much more solid without the back moving around and creaking in my hand during calls.

I guess for the price I paid (full retail ) I should have bitched about that, but I'm not anal about little things, especially if I can fix them as easily as this one.

Type: Package
Status: Delivered

So happy. I ordered the phone on 2/19 online because they were giving me the full upgrade price and it was $320 before the rebate and with tax included whereas the T-Mobile store wanted to charge me $430. I had regular 7-day shipping and it came pretty fast. The only sad thing is that I'm a senior in college and I won't be home until this weekend. I didn't want to send it to school and have some sort of problem. So I will have it in my hands on Friday where my screen protector and case await.

Those with the new dates, can you check for the stated problems? Specifically the wobbly keyboard and screen waves. Thx.

2-17 here and have NONE of the problems that the earlier build dates have had.

I ordered my phone on 2/12. According to UPS, they got shipping instructions on 2/19. NO other information since then!

Anyone else having this issue?

Heyyyy!!! I am a first time blackberry user and I've been reading a few of the threads. I am concerned about some of the problems that others have had with their 8900's for example the loose trackball and loose keyboard. I had so much drama getting my phone when it was released on the 11th and today is the 14th day so if I needed to exchange it I would have to do it today right? But i love my phone and it seems to be ok but then my concern is what do i really know... I've never had a phone like this before to compare it too.

Any update on this? I ordered a few days ago, and they said there was no backorder and they expected it to ship that day. But I have not gotten an email, SMS, or anything, and tracking by reference with my cell number which they told me to do shows nothing as well. I can wait for the phone a little bit, but leaving the country in 10 days, and will be gone for over a week, so I'd like to receive this thing before then.
