HP Touchpad Bluetooth Keyboard on 8900?

I'm wondering if anyone has had any success making the Touchpad Bluetooth Keyboard work on a Blackberry 8900? I've been successful getting them to pair, but the keyboard doesn't actually 'type' anything into text fields or memo fields.

The trick to pairing is to turn on the keyboard (which puts into pair mode for 1 minute), then go into BT pairing on the BB. You can enter any passkey on the BB, then enter the same passkey on the keyboard, followed by enter.

But is there anything that I need to do after that to make the keyboard actually act as a keyboard?
