How do you enter down to a

next line when posting either on forums or in your email inbox on the 8900? I hit Shift Enter or just Enter alone but the cursor just disappears.

For example, if i want to create a list as below:

1. test
2. next

Could their be something wrong with your phone?
Should just be your enter key.
But, I don't have an 8900, so what do I know? I imagine it's quite frustrating.

Just hit the enter button (bottom right). Starts a new paragraph/line.

And just start typing

It disappears but when you start typing
It reappears.

If you went to another page and came back and started typing it may give you one line and stop. Hit Menu>Refresh and start again.

Yes I tried the Enter button and the Shift Enter button, the cursor just disappears and I don't see anything. The Enter button works fine when I compose a mail and also in BB messenger but once I go on the internet to post on forums or compose in the yahoo email client or gmail email client the enter doesn't seem to work.

It's just strange. I tried everything.

OMG I thought it was just me. It happens to me to. Isn't it called text wrap anyway some think with a os upgrade it should wor. For now just keep typing and when you post the reply it puts it in a paragragh form.

As clintro said above,if you press enter the cursor will disappear but it is actually on the next line and will reappear when you start typing again.

Ok this is working for me now once I updated my os to .168.

I understood the cursor disappeared but still when I typed no text appeared. I came from the 8120 pearl didn't have any issues thought maybe it was diff somehow.

Thanks for the suggestions still.
