hey i just went on plazmic and i think i saw the 4.6 version for the 8900

It is 4.6 (Bold and 8220) But the 8900 is 4.6.1 so I'm not sure if it's the same. May want to shoot them an email for clarification.

The 8900 needs version 4.7.

Please search the forum there are PLENTY of threads asking this exact same question. There is at least one already posted today. Also you may get more help with a descriptive title to your thread.

ok so why does it need verison 4.7 if its 4.6 software that doesnt make sense

It's not 4.6, it's 4.6.1
