Default HELP! unlocked rogers blackberry won't work with at&t browser

Hello~
I bought an unlocked 8900 from ebay and tried using the browser with my at&t plan. Everything works fine, even the service books have been sent (and I have also gone thru and delete/undeleted the broswer with at&t blackberry support) still no luck. Basically right now the email, mms, and browser are not functioning. please help!!!

Did you get the BlackBerry Data Plan and not just the voice plan?

You may need to call AT&T and have them assign your new IMEI to your AT&T SIM. Worked on my 9900.

Assigning the IMEI on the billing system doesn't matter. "Unknown" phones can be assigned with any smartphone data feature.

As long as you have the MMS client and MMS transport, and other AT&T service books, all that may need to be done is to confirm your APN settings. On my old Storm, I had to alternate between blackberry.net and wap.cingular, seemingly at random for different services (media streaming, web browsing, et cetera).

Tier 2 support can check to make sure your BIS account is straight, and that your BlackBerry is correctly assigned with RIM services.

But that usually happens automatically. Unless your PIN is attached to a suspended BlackBerry account.

You will need to input at&t apn settings into options-advanced-tcp

You can contact your carrier and get it solved, they will give you the settings you need to set on your unlocked Blackberry.

Thank you everyone for the replies. Unfortunately, my carrier couldn't get the issue solved so I swapped out the rogers one just for an at&t one and it was a much easier setup. Love my curve, so happy it's properly working!
