Default help please!

ok i was told to update my blackberry with the latest official software using the desktop manager, i had never done this before. halfway updating all the software and applications, my phone wouldnt connect to the computer. i cancelled it, my phone wouldnt turn on for half an hour and when it did i lost everything. i restored all my data using the software, everything seeming fine.
my phone now wont turn on. the white screen with the clock comes on for about 5 minutes, then goes completely black and the red LED turns on, this is non-stop repeating. help will be unbelievably appreciated!
thank you,
Ryan

Sounds like you bricked your phone... go to the Blackberry 101 lessons in my signature and find the brick instructions.

Here you go. For future reference - and other new people reading this, the number one most important rule for upgrading is to never, ever unplug before the load is complete.
