How old is the battery? How do you charge it? Do you normally stress the
battery by letting it run down? - 02-22-2010, 11:51 PM #3
Are all of these apps running in the background all the time? Have you changed any of the settings to make them run all the time or update more frequently?
What theme are you using? Some themes have memory leaks.--Laura Knotek (formerly known as lak611)

One vote for the new theme.

What OS?
Doubt its the battery or a physical problem.
Battery leaks are notorious on the 8900 with poorly coded apps and themes.

I'm running .411, and I'm running gmail. Uber, beejive, and podtrapper (along with the usuals) in the background. I hope its not the theme cuz I love it T_T. I adjusted some of the podtrapper settings to not pull so much, and I also readjusted berryweather.
But these past 2 days I have been stressing my battery. The past two days I ran into the red before I started charging, but I shouldn't be seeing such effects so fast!
I'll test the battery life tomorrow to see if the settings I just applied do anything. I'll report back then. Thanks for your guys help btw. Good to talk to a supportive community about these types of things.

Another vote for the theme, try deleting it. Themes gave me memory leaks and poor battery life. I just stick to the stock theme now.
