HELP!! BlackBerry 8900 Trackball not working!

Hello

I have a problem with my curve 8900.
The trackball won't scroll down.
The ball may scroll, but there's no response from the device.
can anyone help me?

There is a lot of dust on that tiny wheals that trackball is moving,I suppose,so you must disassemble your Blackberry,get to them and clean!
Of course you can always buy a new trackball,but i cleaned mine a couple of times and after it,its like new again!
You can search for the disassemble video on you tube,there is plenty to find, but be careful and thorough as you will have to put it back in the right way.

Thanks wolfyberry, i tried using the paper strip method and it worked!
Maybe, the scrolling isn't smooth.

I have had this phone for 3 years and no trackball problems. But if you ever have problems take it to ur carrier and they will fix it.
