Frustration over defaults and Gmail

So I am switching from an android phone back to my Blackberry Curve 8900. I set up my @gmail.com and @hotmail.com addresses on my phone. After I made the changes I wanted I deleted the @gmail from the blackberry. I have all the calendar and messeges default as the @hotmail.com but when I go into my Contacts Options it shows the @gmail.com under the Contact List even though I've deleted this email. When I try to sync my BB to my computer it tells me that the @gmail.com is the new default and do I wish to continue. I click cancel because I don't want to sync with gmail. I want to fix this and remove all gmail from my BB but for the life of me can't figure out how, any help?

I belive you can you use desktop manager to erase the contacts associated with the gmail address. On your BB go into your contacts and hit menu button, select Options, you should see the hotmail and gmail accounts with the number of contacts for each. Use desktop manager to selectively delete the contacts associated with the gmail address.

When I go into options I only see the gmail account, it doesn't show the hotmail. Does that mean all of my contacts are gmail contacts? How would I use desktop manager to delete the contacts? After I delete the gmail contacts on the BB will the hotmail automatically become the default again?

This is the messege I get when I try to sync the BB with the computer:
"The default service for yout device's "Address Book" is no longer available. The new service for synchronization is '*******@gmail.com'
