Default Firmware crashed ! HELP !

Hey guys,

cause english isnt my native language i had problems finding an answer on the forum yet.
i could imagine that the question is already asked, but i also tried google and have not found the right way to fix my Problem.

I bought a 8900 on ebay because a friend of mine had one and was fine with it. (before you wonder, he had no idea what to do with my BB)

the Phone has a T-Mobile Branding, but no simlock, and was delivered with the most recent version of the blackberry OS availabel for the curve 8900 in that special brand edition,... i think it is 5.0.0.681 (Bundle 1168. Platform 5.2.0.67).

The Problem is,... the Browser and the Maps application (original comes with a new phone after wiping,...) is missing,... when i look into the application settings,... there is an entry for both,... but there also stands: "Installed: unavailable"
i have really no idea what that means,... i searched for it on ht internet and found some information on the RIM website where there is a instruction how to bloch an application (Like this ?, am i right) but not to reverse it,...

i can connect the phone to my PC (Vista ) and i can connect it to ghe Newest Blackberry desktop software,... but there comes the next problem,... it is not possible to install any application on the BB,...

i tried to install opera mini because i had no idea how to get the original browser back on my phone,... and there was the progress bar,... and the BB changed white, and Shut down and came back,...
and the PC ended the intallation,... but there is no trace the opera browser ever hit my phone,... there is no data entry, no menu symbol,... no application settings entry,...
nothing,... and with the next connect to the PC i can install is right again,...:-)

I tried to downgrade the Phone to the OS 4.6.X but i havent found any manual that worked in any way with my situation,...

what i have got is a Blackberry i can make phone calls with and send sms,...
no internet,... no mail,... no navigation,... and that sucks,...^^

has anyone any idea ** to fix it ??

would be great !

THANKS !

(and sorry for my terrible english,...)

TIMMI
