If you've been running regular backups in Desktop Manager, just fire up DM and do a restore.
If you haven't been doing backups, then the messages are gone. -

As stated by travelingfool, once deleted, if not backed up, they are history.
One thing I always do, if I even think a txt or email is worth keeping, I will forward it to another of my email addresses. My main email address from my ISP, is where I forward things from myself. Another thing I do, is setup forwards from certain people that send to my BB email address (on my carriers BIS site), that they (emails and texts forwarded as emails) also will auto forward to my main email address. The reason I do this is so that of anything happens to my phone, there will always be a copy of anything I deem important, safe in the inbox of one or more of my email addresses.
I know the info does not help you now, but it will in the future.
It might also help to subscribe to a service like Dexrex https://www.dexrex.com/
or Skydeck Skydeck | Mobile Caller ID, Reverse Lookup, Contact Backup, Spam Filter
Both of the above services/apps are free.
SmrtGuard is another option that will backup txt and email, allowing you to either restore them back to the phone, or view them online.
SmrtGuard :: Wireless Backup and Smartphone Security
SmrtGuard is a paid service, but they do offer a free trial, and of course you are the only you that knows if your info is worth paying a yearly fee to keep backed up. But you should get in the habit of doing some sort of backups, now, before this happens again.Da Bear - 04-18-2010, 08:57 AM #4
I know on older OS (4.5 for sure) when you deleted something from an email addy, it would give you the option to delete from the device only (leaving a copy on the server) or handheld and server. Something to check out. And I think this only applied to 3rd party email (hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc) not the @blackberry.carrier.com addy.

^^ good point. Even if you deleted the emails from your phone, they still may be on your email server. Did you try logging on to check?

I am pleased to announce that everything was restored, however, the most recent things i had saved were not. I encountered a couple problems while restoring, but managed to find a workaround
I kinda wish that it would save it to the microSD card so that things like this dont accidently happen, or that i could copy them onto my computer as to view them there.
I'm just happy to have my msgs back.Dream As If You'll Live Forever, Live As If You'll Die Today -James Dean - 04-19-2010, 12:42 PM #7
I have everything going to my desktop and my handset so I never lose anything. You may want to try that if you're a little too keyboard happy on your phone.
