Okay, I know this is going to make me look stupid but how else will I learn? What is an os leak? What does it mean to jailbreak a phone and what is a bricked phone?

Leaked OS - an Operating System unreleased by carriers, but possibly could be if it passes their "quality control." It's just a way to try out the newest available OS that someone has given out, or "leaked."

Jailbreaking - that is for iPhones, don't worry about that

Bricked Phone - a phone that won't turn on because of some type of software error
