curve on sprint

is there anyway to unlock a curve so i wont have to pay for a internet package.. i bought the phone used

Unlocking the phone has nothing to do with the internet.
If you need the internet capability, pay for it.

why do i need the internet.. i know that the phone will still call and send text without the internet plan

If you want the internet you will have to pay for the data plan. Unlocking a phone will only allow you to use the phone on other carriers. And plus the 8900 is a GSM phone, which wouldn't work on Sprint's CDMA network.

Most important point... GSM phone will not work on CDMA networks!!!
