worked for me...up to a point...once it got to shipping, the rep noticed that I didn't have a corporate account so he THINKS it won't ship until 2/11...

Either way he was able to enter the order and gave me an order number.

now i will just to perpetually check ups.com to see if it ships...

I was successful in placing an order. I do not have a corporate account and just have a corporate discount. I called the phone # given in the first post and was transferred to a non-business representative. The representative gave me the new blackberry curve 8900 without for 299 and 100 mail in rebate. I am one happy customer.

I just tried and called T-Mobile Just now and they said it is not available until 2/11/09. I wanted to upgrade my wife. I have a discount on my account. Is there anyway of doing this like what do i have to say to them in order for them to ship me the phone?

To digital75. All I said was that I was transferred by the corporate line over to individual customer line. I told the rindividual customer rep that I assumed that I had a corporate account. She told me that the phone will be available on 2/11 but a second later told me that I can get the phone today. I did not ask any her any more questions and just placed the order.

WOW, I'm surprised you guys are having success without a business line. I guess the lesson here is: If at first you don't succeed, hang up and call another CS rep! Good Luck.

I'm hoping I can word things correctly so I can get it.

ok, here's what i did (i played the "innocent" card)

-called 611, at the automated prompt, i said "upgrade my phone"
-verified last 4 digits of my social, finally got connected to an agent
-asked her to verify that the 8900 was coming out early feb. she clattered away at her keyboard, then said yes.
-i then stated that i had read *online* that business-end members could get the 8900 yesterday (1-19), and that i was *technically* on a corporate account, and just bluntly asked if i was eligible.
-she put me on hold for about 90 seconds
-she clicks back over, and says it's go.
