    Default cant turn on

    Hello,

i have a kinda strange problem with my 8900.

So what i have here is that i cant turn on my bb. When i connect it to pc the windows does not see it. when i connect it to pc without battery on the screen of bb shows the battery sign with x mark on.
i tried to update the os with app loader. it was loaded, the pin is shown but i'm not moving to next step from message connecting to device (ARM) and after few minutes i receive the message, unable to connect to device

ps desktop manager sees it but its unable to update

PS the battery is kinda new

    Any help

    thanks so much

Try using BBSak to wipe it first since it will connect to your computer.

Also try a different computer, one of my PCS would never connect to my BB because of odd Ports/firewall.

There are a couple of guides for bricked blackberries you can find (not saying yours is bricked, but the information is useful.

to wipe is the last resort. try this kickstart method. instead of connecting via pc use a wall charger and hook up the bb to charge without the battery inserted. when it boots to the screen with the red x thru the battery, insert the battery with the charger still hooked up (works well for batteries at 0%). should boot to where the lightning bolt goes thru the battery. just leave it let it start from there

can also try to have the bb hooked up to the pc without the battery inserted. apploader will find it but be quick to press next when the pin shows up.

Wipe the device first with bbsak, and go back to the apploader, if it doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall your bb desktop manager and the os installed, then reconnect your process, that should work.
    Thanks
