Hi guys,
Wonder if you can help, I cant seem to get past the welcome screen when bb 8900 loads up. This is the first line.

"THIS HANDHELD DEVICES INCLUDES SOFTWRE"

I have reloaded the device software but still have the same problem.

I can still call the phone but that is it.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Nuking the BB with BBSAK helps. Use BBSAK to completely wipe the phone, and load the new OS. I had something very similar; I gambled and decided to upgrade from 4 to 5, and some apps from when I was 4 were trying to launch the security prompt at the same time 5 was coming up; which prevented a successful boot.

um, have you tried clikcing the "OK" button?

wiping it with BBSAK and reloading the OS should fix it

umm, Im having a similar problem, but this occurred when I updated my phone from os5 to os6. I cannot press okay or scroll because my trackpad wont select. Any ideas what to do?
