Ok so I followed the instructions to the T on how to upgrade to .206 and tried many different suggestions from what ALL I have read. Nothing seems to work and I have a good grasp on what I am doing.

    First:
-Downloaded .206 from link to MegaUpload.com
    -Run/Installed on my PC
    -Deleted vendor.xml file from programfiles/commonfiles/rim/apploader
-"wiped" it with JL_Cmder correctly. its white screen says "Reload Software 507"
-connected BB to computer (no internet connection) and opened up DM4.7
And it wouldnt connect to boot ROM, so I read that I should use DM4.6
I repeated the process and STILL nothing. I am so frustrated because now my phone is wiped I have tried numerous things and in different ways but no matter what I cant get it to connect.
I desperately need some assistance with my problem. Any advice would help!
I am even willing to go to a different OS just to get my phone back working

Once again I've read alllllll the posts I can on how to resolve this issue. The only thing I havent done it to try it on another computer. I have deleted all files and even started it all over again in hopes that I might have missed/messed up a step in the process

Try connecting your BB and use the Loader.exe file to run the upgrade... it's located in the same directory as the Vendor.xml file... I think it's Loader or AppLoader.exe, but I'm not at home to see the exact name of the file.

You need to use a USB port that is connected directly to your PC, do not use one that is part of a USB hub.

What OS are you running on your PC?

windows XP professional and I plug directly to my CPU. I fixed the problem by calling Tmobile.....I guess a force connection solved my issue
