help i have a blackberry 8900 curve wifi tv java quadband bluetooth fm trackball which i bought from china it will not turn on and when i plug in the usb cable and the part come on the computer there is nothing on no software could someone help me to get the OS for my phone thanks very much

thanks do u know what kind it is by any chance it looks like the attachment but at the back it says tv mobile 12.0mp camera ...

It's just a Chinese knock-off of a BlackBerry. There are no BlackBerry devices with TV or a 12.0mp camera.

Yeah, TV tuners are pretty well exclusive to Chinese and other east-Asian phones.

I don't recommend buying off-brand phones if you don't already work for a cellphone company.

as the others said, its a Chinese Phone :s , there is nothing you can do with this phone to fix it or a OS to it

my phone has been nuked but when i plug in the usb the window pops up root folder for bb shows but the folders are empty so i know my computer recognizes that its connected but i cant use apploader or desktop manager.

Apploader & BlackBerry Desktop Software WONT work with this phone, like everybody said before, it's a knock off, the folders you're seeing is most likely the memory card or phone storage.
