Blackberry Maps
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the BB scene and got one last week. When I ordered it it said that BB Maps was included. For some kind of reason I can't find it. Tried everything. When I open the Application Manager, I says that BB Maps is already on my phone but when I search for it, it isn't there. If uncheck the box, it says that I'm going to delete the app. So that has to mean that it's already installed right? Already did 'Show all' and it didn't help either. Looked in every map and just cannot find the Compas Icon ( BB Maps ). Anyone know what to do?
Thanks in advance,
MPWE Hendriks

Make sure you do not have any of your icons hidden, click your apps button to go to the icons, then once you are in the apps screen, click the apps button again, then select "show all"

Sounds like you are doing everything correctly, but it will not say BB Maps... it will just say "Maps"... and it's usually on the first or second row of icons on your Applications page.
If it's still not there do a battery pull and check for hidden icons again.
Also, if you are using a downloaded theme... go back to one of your original themes that were shipped with your BB.Last edited by fatboy97; 03-20-2009 at 07:18 AM. Reason: Also,...

Do you have a data plan??
If you have a data plan you can remove it and re-add it..... that should work

You need the BIS plan for blackberry on your phone.

The data plan allows unlimited usage of BIS (internet, emails, etc) from your BB. It's an added feature that you pay for on your TMo bill.
I'd recommend using Google Maps though. It's better than BB maps.10:37
