Blackberry 8900 UMA Support on T-Mobile USA with T-Mobile Germany phone

I'm trying to do the opposite, use a TMobile phone on Rogers. No UMA so far.

Wouldn't switching the vendor files from one os to the other do the trick? For example you have the rogers os with its vendor file and you have the tmobiles os with its vendor file. Delete the vendor file from rogers os and put in tmobiles os instead. Wouldn't that make a difference?
