    Default Blackberry 8900 Turns Off When Playing Videos

    I Just Got This Bb 8900 And It Turns Off When I Go On Youtube To Watch Videos...i Get Into The Video Player And It Loads Plays For A While Then My Phone Turns Off????...anyone Help!!!!

    this happens to me too. ...it happens when i start scanning or forwarding the video or messing around going back and forth from the full screen to normal size while video is playing...it turns off.....help

    when I just let it play not messing around while its playing everything seems to go well

    I believe this only happens when the video file is too big for the phone to handle so it restarts the phone. I had this problem before but I wouldn't want to go onto youtube with my bb just because its more of a business phone..

    I did some searching myself and came across what worked for me. Go to options/advanced options then click on TCP/IP leave APN settings enabled checked, and fill out the next field as follows: APN:wap.voicestream.com, leave APN Authentication unchecked and user name and password clear. Make sure you save it. This worked for me. I am able to view youtube videos with out my phone shutting off on me. Let me know if it works for you.! Blessed_Wes
