Blackberry 8900 dead? Disconnects while installing OS

I have a blackberry 8900, and i think its dead, but i wanna get your opinions and suggestions and hopefully i can get my fone working again.

My blackberry will not turn on! Theres a red light while charging and sometimes goes off!

I have installed the OS for my phone and deleted the vendor.xml file. While it is setting up, it "sees my fone" and i click next and it starts to load up the software but when it reaches WAITING FOR DEVICE INTIALIZATION" it always disconnects, and there is no way for me to connect it again.

I have tried JLOADER, and BBSAK but for some reason the device is not seen so i cannot format the fone.

Hi, the phone I'm working on at the moment is doing exactly the same thing as yours, and its driving me nuts .

Hopefully one of us will get an answer to our question someday .
