I've not read anything about anyone purchasing one of these batteries, but... do you really want to trust your expensive device to a battery that cost you USD 4???

Not me!!!

I bought one for my wifes 8900 that just drains batteries, it's just as bad as the original, but for $4, I have a spare for her phone.

Is that really a question???

Are you talking about buying a cheapo battery from AT&T or T-Mobile? How about bringing the battery back to the store. I'm sure they are getting their batteries from reputable vendors, otherwise they would not stay in business.

fatboy97, I meant that we need a form of differentiating, these batteries might pop up on ebay, random online shops and whatnot but with ATT / TMO store prices.
