BB has water damage now I can't back up my data. HELP!

Hey everybody,

I dropped my phone in the toilet a couple days ago. Took out the battery and put the phone in rice for the last few days. Basically, it's dead. I get a steady red LED light for a few seconds and then nothing happens. When i plug it into the charger i get a white outline of a battery with a big red X through it.

So I hooked it up to my computer and now it says that the computer can't connect to the device. What can I do. Most importantly I want my BBM contacts and the media on the card.

You can't do anything with it now. What you should have done was put your SIM card, battery, and media card in the rice, separate from the phone.

You may have to get a new phone. I don't know what else to say. Sorry.

Man, That Stinks! (sorry couldnt resist). Did you use "BlackBerry Protect, you can get your cantacts and such from that back up as well....

Otherwise I would wait a few more days and see if you get lucky. Good Luck
