Hello, I've been having the same issue with the battery door on my 8900. I tried the tape fix and also puta piece on the SIM card cover and finally no more loose battery door. Thanks for the great post.

I just did it to my 8900. I put two thin pieces on my battery door at the top by the hinges like in the picture. I popped it back on and there was still a little bit of a shift. I opened it back up and put another piece over the SIM card cover and the wobbling was gone. Problem solved. Awesome. Thanks!

Default yet another fix

Same concept as all the others, but I snipped two lengths of rubber band approx 1/8 - 1/4 inch long and inserted these in the slots at the top of the phone where the back cover tabs go in.
