What do you mean with the antenna was "off"? How did you come to such a conclusion? Do you mean that you were not connected to a network and e.g. only a "SOS"-sign in red was shown?

    Screen shot?!?!

I think what you have is your radio has turned off....Go to manage connections and click on mobile network... unless you have a t-mobile by it.....sometime I have noticed this turns off

Yeah, if your radio was just off and now you've turned it on then you're golden. If this happens frequently then something's wrong. Does it go to 'off' for you often? Or at least more than once?

It happens once in awhile. lets say i leave my phone on my desk for about 30 min, come back and check to see if i got any messeges the phone just automatically turns off the radio, i have to go back and turn it on. i checked all the options including bedside mode which i thought would have been the case but everything is normal.

solution is i paid $300 for this phone im not about to have a jacked up berry so im exchanging it.

If the battery get to 15% then the phone will turn off the battery itself.

I am not sure that charging restores the radio.

Other than this one condition, I am not aware of any other reason for the phone to switch off its radio.

How long have you had your phone?

Did this recently start or has it always been happening?
